Oracle Administration Tasks
Our Linux team can perform all the standard administration tasks including:
- Install and configure Oracle database software on servers.
- Create and manage databases, tablespaces, schemas, and users.
- Tune database performance by optimizing SQL queries and database parameters.
- Backup and recover databases using Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN) or other tools.
- Maintain database security by creating and managing user accounts, roles, and privileges.
- Monitor and troubleshoot database errors and issues using diagnostic tools and logs.
- Perform database upgrades, migrations, and patching to keep the system up to date.
- Implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions such as Real Application Clusters (RAC).
- Manage database storage by adding or resizing datafiles, tablespaces, and redo logs.
- Provide support and guidance to developers and end-users on database-related issues.
